MHT Dentistry Accreditation

By September 2, 2021February 14th, 2022No Comments

MHT Dentistry is proud to announce that it has now been officially HDAA ‘accredited’ and is recognised to operate a service delivery system that complies with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

In short, that means that the staff at MHT Dentistry have undergone a process to meet a strict set of standards that commit them to continuously improving the safety and quality of the care they deliver to patients.

It’s a big deal because unlike our public sector colleagues who must be accredited, private practices are not required to undergo the same procedure. MHT Dentistry has accredited itself on its own volition and expense, meaning we have voluntarily committed to continuously improve safety and quality for all our patients.

Dr Matt Teixeira commented “The accreditation process has been thorough and time consuming but ultimately rewarding as we looked internally at our internal processes and policies. The whole accreditation exercise can be directly linked back to MHT Dentistry becoming the recipient of the 2020 Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch (ADAVB) and BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary.” Link to Bursary article.
